Tandem

Tandem was contracted by a market research and consulting firm to develop an internal platform solution. The project aim was to create a technology solution that would facilitate better support for client-facing products and platforms. Tandem built a database architecture using Laravel, Drupal CMS, and Ruby on Rails, which enabled the firm's employees to enter and link company data to relevant research. This platform allowed multiple users to add data in bulk or by individual company records, effectively updating the company's database. The project, which cost just over $100,000, ran from December 2016 to August 2017.

In another project, Tandem worked with a university's web and digital communications division to upgrade their website to a new version of Drupal. The university was experiencing performance issues, including lag time, and Tandem was tasked with making the existing site functionalities and content compatible with the new version of Drupal. The project, which cost between $15,000–$20,000, lasted from September 2017–August 2018. Tandem was then engaged for other projects through February 2019.

Tandem was also hired by an urgent care company to redesign their website. The goal was to make the website more user-friendly and functional for customers seeking to save their spot or learn about the care center. Tandem provided design, content, and coding for the website, ensuring ADA compliance and SEO optimization. The project, which started in June 2018, is ongoing and has so far cost between $200,000 to $999,999.
