Highlights from Recent Projects
Takeaway Reality partnered with FFIND, a market research company, to develop an AR/VR tool named Rexee. The goal was to convert traditional market research methodologies into VR. Takeaway Reality was chosen due to their strong online presence and expertise in VR. The project, which started in June 2023, is ongoing and costs around $100,000 annually. The client appreciated Takeaway Reality's deep understanding of the project, their insights for improvement, and their help in assembling the business plan.
In a collaboration with Kois Center, a self-funded learning center, Takeaway Reality was tasked with recreating the experience of taking dental CE courses in VR. The objective was to bring world-class education online, encourage group classes, and protect IP. The client found Takeaway Reality through an online search and selected them for their reputation. The project involved 6-10 employees and aimed to make the VR course an acceptable substitute for attending in person.
Choncha, an IoT company, engaged Takeaway Reality for AR/VR development for their smart plant pot. The aim was to expand the user journey, recommending the perfect plant for the user before purchase. The AR/VR component would allow the user to use computer vision with a mobile phone to recognize the plant and provide relevant information. The project, which had an end cost of €14,000, ran from January 2025 to May 2025. The client praised Takeaway Reality's design and development skills, although integration into the existing application is still ongoing.
