Highlights from Recent Projects
Tack Mobile worked with Pearson Education to create a mobile learning platform for adult learners and remote students. The project aimed to enhance the learning experience by leveraging mobile technologies. Tack Mobile conducted an exploration phase to understand the needs and problems of learners, and to determine the features and brand aesthetics for the app. The mobile development project resulted in the creation of a new brand and style guide, which was later incorporated into the web platform. The collaboration, which involved a team of up to seven people from Tack Mobile, lasted for two years and cost over $200,000.
Tack Mobile was hired by Aspen Skiing Company to improve the company's mobile app. The project aimed to enhance the guests' experience at the company's ski resorts. Tack Mobile expanded the existing app's features to make it more relevant and useful for guests. The team included an engagement manager, an iOS development lead, an Android development lead, and a QA engineer.
Tack Mobile collaborated with a window shade company to develop a mobile app for controlling motorized window shades. The app was designed to allow users to schedule when their shades would open or close and to group different rooms together. The app was also integrated with smartphone technologies such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit. Apart from developing the new app, Tack Mobile also took over the maintenance of an existing app, adding new product categories and updating it for iOS and Android platforms. The project cost a total of $434,750 and ended in December 2020 due to a change in the company's platform.
