Taapti Technologies was hired by a plumbing company to develop a reliable and efficient custom software solution that would alleviate recurring problem issues. The goal was to create a platform that could automate invoices and process them quickly and accurately, saving significant man-hours of data entry. Other desired features included the ability to transport and hypothesize data from invoice content, comparison of procurement prices across vendors, and visual procurement pipeline representation.

The software development project primarily involved the creation of an invoice automation platform which has successfully processed close to 40,000 invoices with a remarkable extraction accuracy of 99.72%. By automating this process, the company saved approximately 1,170 working days of data entry, enabling them to efficiently repurpose their human resources. Additionally, the platform effectively compared procurement prices and facilitated significant monthly savings. Taapti Technologies also developed an AI pipeline for invoice data extraction and an Autodesk 3D model for the client's engineers to track pipe statuses.
