Systems for Humans

Systems for Humans was hired by a solar energy company in Tanzania to create a mobile app that would allow customers to control their solar-powered assets and make loan payments more easily. The project was particularly challenging as the target users had never used a smartphone before. After a detailed survey, Systems for Humans was chosen for their experience and ability to handle first-time smartphone users. The project involved extensive fieldwork in Tanzania, including customer interactions, surveys, and prototype testing. The company's owner, Artur, personally led the project, which resulted in a list of high-impact features for the app and a comprehensive set of mockup screens.

For an online reporting platform, Systems for Humans was tasked with modernizing the look of the platform, ensuring mobile-friendliness, and enhancing the click-through rate for ads. The project involved three separate brands and reporting platforms, each with its unique focus. The scope of work included designing landing pages, report pages, inline frame badges, and a browser extension. They also prepared a/b test scenarios to improve page performance metrics. The project was successful, with key deliverables including Sketch files with mockups, InVision prototypes, and online instructional videos.

Systems for Humans was engaged by LiveMixtapes, a music distribution platform, to design their professional tools dashboard and redesign their web and iOS app. The company was referred to Systems for Humans and chose them for their hands-on approach and understanding of the project vision. Communication was primarily through virtual meetings and email. The scope of work included direct collaboration with the client on design and redesign, with progress reviews conducted via Zoom calls and Loom video reviews.
