Synaptiq

Synaptiq was hired by Loudoun Test Prep, a company providing SAT/ACT Prep and Academic tutoring, to automate their GroupSmart process. The process involved grouping students based on diagnostic test scores which was time-consuming and became more complex with an increasing number of students. Synaptiq analyzed years of data to identify trends and provided recommendations to further automate the grouping process. They used machine learning to enhance the effectiveness of the classes and create better groups for students. The project was completed by a team of 2-5 employees from Synaptiq and was chosen for their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, and alignment with company values.

In a project with Spine by Design, a medical software company focused on surgical outcomes prediction, Synaptiq was tasked to create a mechanism using computer vision to accurately pull in imaging data and develop a working alpha prototype of their software. The work streams initiated included implementing a DICOM processing tool, porting geometric functions from Matlab to Python, and creating an inference pipeline to ingest MRI images. The team also implemented a retraining pipeline to support model improvements. Synaptiq was chosen for their proximity, budget-friendly pricing, and company values alignment.

Synaptiq worked with a software company to build a machine learning-driven tool to curate e-learning courses for their clients and internal teams. They were also tasked to identify the internal roles needed to maintain and grow these tools and train internal personnel. The project involved converting a manual course curation process into an automated, machine learning-driven tool to enhance efficiency and allow customers to self-serve. Synaptiq was chosen for their proximity, budget-friendly pricing, and previous experience with the client.
