A financial analyst based in New York City hired SWEHQ to improve the user interface of a web-based computer game designed to help the public understand the Covid-19 pandemic. SWEHQ was chosen due to the recommendation of a former classmate and their willingness to volunteer their time for the project. The project was implemented in Angular, with the backend database being MongoDB and the caching layer provided by Cloudfare. The owner of SWEHQ and five other developers were involved in the project. 1st Cloud Republic, a company that develops and operates a communication and project management platform for small and medium-sized teams, hired SWEHQ for several tasks. These included interfacing the Common Tongue communication platform with the internal system of a client, displaying datasets of atmospheric and biometric sensor outputs in a project involved in the development of an on-board system for space research training, and developing a new search tool in the rapidly growing databases of the communication platform. SWEHQ was chosen based on years of personal knowledge, quality work in the past, and good references. The SWEHQ team developed several key modules and features of the Common Tongue web app, secured the whole app based on a rigorous penetration testing report, and improved performance by removing bottlenecks in a few key routines. The statutory director of 1st Cloud Republic commended SWEHQ's quality work and reasonable UI and technical approach.
