SWARM worked with a new social media platform, focusing on the development and information architecture. The platform, unique in its feature of allowing users to post in their own handwriting and create their own emojis, posed a challenge in terms of technological feasibility. SWARM successfully tested the platform over a one-month period, ensuring viability, before moving onto wireframing, design, engineering, quality assurance, and upkeep. The project, which ran from March to October 2016, saw SWARM provide full services for the production of the app, with an investment between $50,000 and $200,000.

In another project, SWARM partnered with a data insights company to provide engineering, design, and development of their portfolio of mobile apps and SDKs. The goal was to grow the user base, and SWARM's work included user research, mobile design and development, issue resolution, bug fixing, and occasionally, defining and executing the company's mobile marketing strategy. The company worked with five senior SWARM employees, including UX designers and mobile engineers. The engagement started in January 2017 and is ongoing, with a monthly investment of $16,000 to $20,000.

SWARM also collaborated with a print publishing platform to improve their video delivery website. The project involved improving the user experience of the WordPress site and identifying opportunities to enhance the interactive design and site code. SWARM's holistic approach, considering all areas of the project and offering expertise across all points, was highly valued. The partnership started as a 12-month contract with ongoing support, focusing on retaining current users and improving the site's architecture to enhance the UX.
