Subvisual partnered with OncoStats, an oncology software firm, to develop the initial version of their software. The project began with the creation of initial prototypes, which were then developed into an interactive version. This was followed by the production of a demo version of the product for presentation to medical staff for feedback on user experience. The project was web-based, utilizing Java or Ruby-based languages. Subvisual allocated between one and three developers, along with a lead designer, scaling the team as needed throughout the project. Subvisual was chosen due to their reputation for quality and care, as well as their local presence. The partnership has been ongoing since late 2014, with OncoStats investing €100,000 in the project. Subvisual now holds a stake in OncoStats, establishing them as a company partner.
