Highlights from Recent Projects
SUAN Conceptual Design was hired by the State Chancellery of the Canton of Basel-Stadt to modernize and improve their voting brochure. The goal was to enhance reader guidance, provide understandable information, and motivate people to exercise their voting rights. SUAN was selected through a competition process involving four agencies. They developed a design concept and were responsible for designing the voting booklet four times a year, creating icons for individual voting templates, and creating animations for social media. The project involved the two business owners and one employee from the start.
In another project, an event agency hired SUAN Conceptual Design for a variety of services including brand strategy, corporate design, corporate language, editorial design, web design, advertisements, and digital media. The goal was to create a new and creative corporate design that would appeal to people. The agency's owner selected SUAN because of a previous connection through the Junior Chamber of Commerce. The design was centred around the agency's motto "We turn the table upside down", incorporating a playful mood through illustrations and scripts, with a touch of vintage in the materiality of the correspondence. The website highlighted the individuality of the event agency, using icons to lighten up reference projects and encourage playful exploration. The project was led by Susanne, assisted by Andre and a former designer colleague.
