Highlights from Recent Projects
Stuzo collaborated with a digital health startup to develop a web-based application for a dentist membership platform. The startup, with a small team, needed additional resources to develop the app. Stuzo developed a cloud-based MVP that met all requirements after the startup presented data from a year of field research on the dental industry. The full-stack JavaScript app, hosted on AWS cloud, was designed with a React-based frontend and a Node.js-based backend. The MVP was developed between June and September 2017, leading to a beta release. The 1.0 version was released in February 2018 after which the startup started a new contract with a smaller team from Stuzo.
The People's Choice Awards engaged Stuzo to develop a Facebook application for fan engagement during the telecast of the award show. The partnership evolved into several other projects, the most recent being a major redesign of their voting application for the award show. Stuzo was involved in the entire lifecycle of the project, from the inception strategy and creative discussion to creative design, development, QA, and handoff. The cost of all the projects ranged between $200,000 and $1 million. Currently, there are no ongoing projects but there is an expectation of re-engagement for some enhancements as the peak season approaches.
Stuzo worked with Payomatic, the largest alternative financial services provider in New York City, to develop a financial platform for an easy-pay platform. Payomatic sought to stay relevant in a digital- and mobile-first era. Stuzo developed a product vision, roadmap, and backlog that could be prioritized within their agile process after a two-day workshop. The product is still in heavy development with a planned launch in June 2018. The cost of the project is around $250,000 with an additional $400,000–$600,000 expected to be spent in 2018.
