StepInsight undertook a project for a land surveying company in New South Wales, Australia, which required a refreshed look for their client-facing web application. The company primarily focuses on civil construction, tunneling and major infrastructure surveying projects. The StepInsight team took charge of the full stack development, including the UI/UX design of the app. The application was built using Google Cloud and JavaScript and was designed for mobile viewing. The app, in its most basic form, charts and plans layouts of where some instrumentation might be out in the field. The client interfaced with two lead developers, the owner of the company, and a project manager. The partnership, which began in January 2019, is still ongoing.

In another project, StepInsight was engaged by a boat booking company to develop their website and web-based booking system from scratch. The development included UI/UX design and used Angular as one of the main technologies. Three of StepInsight’s co-founders and 2–3 developers worked on this project. The client met StepInsight at a business owners club and decided to hire them for the project. The engagement began in May 2022 and the project, which started in June 2022, is still in progress.
