STEP 2 ENGINEERING was engaged by 8 Degree Pedal, a company that produces and sells the first ever flat floating bicycle pedals, to engineer and design their unique product. The client found STEP 2 ENGINEERING on Upworks and chose them for their high ratings, proximity, budget-friendly pricing, company values, and knowledgeable responsiveness. The team at STEP 2 ENGINEERING, consisting of 2-5 employees, initially assisted with spring calculations for the prototype. They then provided several design options, eventually creating a final pedal design which was prototyped and tested. After minor modifications, the design went into production, with STEP 2 ENGINEERING also advising on International Safety Standards Test requirements for international sales. In addition, they designed three other pedal models for the client and are currently working on an exercise pedal model. As a bonus, they also visited the client's pedal manufacturer to verify its credibility and validate their facility.
