Stackfound

Stackfound was hired by an animal health company to enhance their existing application and reduce dependencies on their primary application owner's infrastructure. The company, which develops products to assist veterinarians and vet teams, sought the expertise of Stackfound for this project. The scope of work included reviewing six AWS environments for any functional value and recommending which could be deprecated. Stackfound also identified unnecessary AWS resources and suggested an approach to reduce spending on these assets. The project further involved updating the web application to remove dependencies on the Okta identity management system and replace it with the Microsoft Identity Platform. Stackfound integrated Azure Active Directory Application Registration for securing the application's APIs and enabled Single-Sign-On through Azure Active Directory Enterprise Application. The project was completed with the creation of support documentation for managing application registration secret expiration, SAML certificate expiration, and other items for sustaining the web application moving forward. The client praised Stackfound for their good value for cost and was happy with the results.
