Stable Kernel

Stable Kernel was engaged by Food Finder GA, a registered nonprofit organization, to develop a mobile application that could help locate the nearest food banks for the needy. The project was inspired by the founder's desire to make a bigger impact than just volunteering for a few hours at a food pantry. The mobile app developed by Stable Kernel uses geolocation to find the closest free food sources around a user. The application development project, which cost $18,000, was completed within a span of four months and the mobile app was launched in June 2016.

A manufacturing company specializing in HVAC equipment, water heaters, home generators, and more, engaged Stable Kernel to develop applications for their Internet of Things initiative. The company wanted to remotely control their equipment and needed external expertise as they did not have a mobile development team in-house. Stable Kernel provided a team of developers who worked on both iOS and Android platforms, as well as UI/UX design. The cost of the first project fell between $200,000 and $1 million, and the budget for the ongoing relationship is expected to exceed $1 million.

In another project, Stable Kernel partnered with a sports and recreation startup to develop an iOS application. The client was seeking a technical partner who could understand their broader business goals and revenue models, not just the technical requirements. Stable Kernel was recommended as the best developer in Atlanta, and the client found their approach to building scalable software efficient. The application development cost between $60,000 and $100,000 and was completed within five months. The client plans to continue the partnership for the development of an Android version of the app.
