Highlights from Recent Projects
Speck provided web app development services for a coffee cloud company that offers IoT solutions to the hospitality industry. The company engaged Speck to add new features and updates to their web app solution on AVS Amazon. Speck developed specific features for different customers, including baristas, coffee shop owners, restaurant owners, coffee distributors, and sales managers. They were also involved in customer role development and developing features for using coffee machines. The company has invested around $60,000 in the project, which started in early April 2021 and is expected to continue until the end of the year.
In another project, Speck was hired by a Croatian retail company, KTC, to redesign their website and develop a webshop. The company wanted to improve the quality of their current website and introduce online shopping and home delivery options. Speck delivered wireframes, mock-ups, and a webshop integration plan. After several design iterations, they designed and developed a new informational website and the first KTC webshop with at-home delivery. The Speck team for this project included a Project Manager, UI designer, and Developer.
For Peterson’s, a test prep and education company, Speck developed an iOS and Android app that allows individuals to carry out their test prep in a mobile-first environment. Speck was involved in the initial scoping, architecture, and design of the app. They developed a function that ensures the stability and persistence of offline content and user management. The project, which lasted from August to December 2020, involved eight people from Speck and cost about $300,000.
