Highlights from Recent Projects
Specbee completed a project for Worldwide Multimodal Cargo, an international logistics company. The company hired Specbee to create an app and website that would streamline their logistics requirement fulfilment process and vendor interaction. Specbee designed and developed the platform, starting with extensive brainstorming and documentation of requirements. The UX design phase involved sketching, wireframing, and visual designs, leading to a functional website and mobile applications. The application was tested and deployed, and Specbee continues to evolve and maintain the platforms. The team was composed of a project manager, a systems architect, a UI/UX designer, Drupal developers, mobile app developers, and testers.
Specbee was hired by a creative marketing agency to migrate their existing Drupal site to a new version. The agency found Specbee through an online search and chose them due to their high ratings, proximity, budget-friendly pricing, and good value for cost. The scope of work included updating the website from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9, updating custom modules to work with the new core version, and testing and fixing any issues, warnings, and errors.
Credit Builders Alliance, a nonprofit financial organization, hired Specbee to update their website as the previous version of its CMS was nearing its end of life. Specbee migrated their Drupal-based website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 and took over the support and maintenance of the website. The project involved an initial audit, a two-month-long discovery process, and a deep dive into the business processes to understand any custom code or logic needed on the site. The engagement, which started in February 2024, is ongoing with a switch to an ongoing support contract since the migration process ended in June 2024. The team from Specbee consisted of a project manager, a technical account manager, and a Drupal lead.
