Sparkybit

Sparkybit was hired by an AI & ML development company to strengthen their ML development teams. The company was impressed with Sparkybit's solid hard skills and matching work approach, which they demonstrated before the contract was signed. Sparkybit's team of six, which included a Machine Learning Tech Lead, three Machine Learning Engineers, a Frontend developer, and a Transcriber, worked on various projects such as image and video analysis, brand exposure analysis, and speech recognition. These AI tools helped the client's sports teams make data-driven decisions, either in preparation for sports events or in understanding areas for growth and improvement afterward.

ShowCode, a tech community platform, hired Sparkybit to take ownership of a complex legacy web application and to construct a new community application platform. Sparkybit was referred to ShowCode by an employee who had previously worked with them and was highly impressed. The Sparkybit team, which consisted of ten people including Front end, Back end, QA, DevOps, architecture and project management, delivered on the goals of increasing the stability of the legacy application, modernising its architecture, and integrating it into the new platform. The new community application platform was constructed with a React based, responsive UI, modern .NET APIs and document based databases, deployed using a cloud native approach.

A pensions data company hired Sparkybit to update their legacy software to meet new regulatory requirements. Sparkybit was chosen for their relevant expertise, seniority, and their commitment to understanding the business in detail. The team, which varied from 13 to 19 people, worked on modernising the legacy software and developing a new, cloud-based platform from scratch. The project involved data migration and transformation, using .NET and AWS Cloud as the core technologies. The company met key milestones and their clients have started using the product.
