Sparkbit was contracted by a large IT consultancy to develop a React.js web application for a client in the energy sector. During the project, which ran from September to December 2018, Sparkbit built a mobile and web application that assisted with the management of workflows and processes for monitoring energy plants. They developed the frontend using React.js and integrated Java microservices for the backend using REST-based APIs. The project, which was executed by one developer, cost around €30,000 ($34,294 USD).
In a different project, Sparkbit was hired by a company that develops smart flavoring appliances to create algorithms and models that would provide users with general and personalized flavoring suggestions. The goal was to automatically generate recipes from a given list of possible ingredients. The models were tested by a board of senior chefs. The project was executed by a big data expert, a junior analyst, and Sparkbit's CTO.
