Southport Technology Group was engaged by Run Energy to integrate their payroll system and leverage Xero's payroll functionality. The project involved creating a new process to link Quickbase and Xero, allowing the transfer of timesheet data from Quickbase to Xero. This synchronization of data eliminated the need for manual data entry, with the final step being the review and approval of payroll on Xero. The project, which commenced in January 2021, is still ongoing with further work planned. The client has a long-standing working relationship with Southport's CEO, Trevor, and is set to invest approximately $20,000 in this project.

In a separate project, Black Bear Energy contracted Southport Technology Group to develop an online bid form. The team, led by Trevor, developed the software based on the platform design and requirements provided by the client. This online bid submission form digitized the bidding process and allowed for the storage of certain information in the client's database. The project, which ran from January to June 2020, cost between $10,000 and $25,000. The client continues to work with Southport on other initiatives, having chosen them for their understanding of the project specifications and Trevor's impressive technical skills.

Phoenix Loss Control hired Southport Technology Group for a code review project. The objective was to assess the coding abilities of a potential new head of software development. Southport's team of two reviewed the code, provided an analysis of the developer's work, and suggested areas for improvement. The decision to engage Southport was based on a friend's referral, their expertise, and cost-effectiveness.
