Soren Innovations

Soren Innovations was engaged by J-U-B ENGINEERS, a civil engineering consulting firm, to redesign their poorly designed intranet. After a thorough interview process to understand the company's needs, Soren Innovations presented design samples which were approved and then developed. The new intranet, integrated with Active Directory and customized SharePoint, features a home page for company-wide communication, a news and events section, an employee spotlight feature, and an HR section for insurance and benefit forms. The project, which cost between $40,000 and $50,000, was completed between January and May 2016. The company continues to occasionally engage Soren Innovations for additional functionalities and training for new employees.

Soren Innovations was hired by a utilities coordinating council to assist in building out their SharePoint for both their intranet site and their external-facing public website. The intranet redesign, which took 18 months to complete, included identifying 12 key features to provide on the intranet. These features included a corporate library for policies, procedures, and benefits information, a weather forecast based on office location, and integration of social media feeds. Soren Innovations built the site in such a way that the communications department could continually update information and keep end users engaged. The company first engaged Soren Innovations in 2013 and continues to partner with them on various projects and maintenance.
