Softway

Softway undertook a web and mobile e-commerce project for a high-end, custom-cut diamond retailer based in Houston, Texas. The company's goal was to develop a sophisticated website and mobile application that reflected the quality of their products. Softway delivered a comprehensive solution, from initial brainstorming to implementation, that included a shopping cart, inventory tracking, and a custom order submission feature. The website was mainly built using PHP, while the mobile applications were developed for iPhone and Android. Post-development, Softway continued to work with the company to enhance their IT system. The client was satisfied with Softway’s work, noting it met their goals and expectations.

The second project involved a nationwide collection of photography studios aiming to increase repeat business and sell services to other studios. They engaged Softway to develop a social networking site for families that would integrate with local photography studios. The client had initially worked with a different company, but due to delays and budget issues, they switched to Softway. The website was initially developed in Adobe Flex, but Softway is currently transitioning it to HTML 5 and Java to ensure mobile compatibility. The client expressed satisfaction with Softway’s understanding of their business objectives and their ability to deliver on time and within budget.
