Softup Technologies was hired by a B2B SaaS company to build a comprehensive automated data pipeline. The CEO of the company found Softup Technologies through a referral and chose them due to their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, and company values that aligned with their own. The project involved a team of 2-5 employees from Softup Technologies. The scope of the project included the development of a data collection module, a storage and processing solution, a vectorization and query interface, and an automation and scheduling feature. The data collection module was designed to scrape financial reports from publicly traded companies, while the storage and processing solution was tasked with storing the raw data and extracting critical sections using semantic chunking strategies. The vectorization and query interface was implemented with AI embedding models for data vectorization, storage in a database, and a querying interface enhanced by generative LLMs. Lastly, the automation and scheduling feature was designed to ensure periodic data refreshes and system reliability. The CEO was pleased with the results, citing the team's professionalism, efficient work, and the overall value for cost.
