The COO of the agency reported that the project began with consulting to define the project needs and appropriate technologies to use. Smarttie used PHP and an e-commerce platform for development, with a team of four, including a project manager, developers, and a UX designer. Roughly 800,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $40,000 USD) was invested in this project which commenced in November 2018 and concluded in December 2019.
In another project, Smarttie developed a passenger transportation app for Montecristo Data Mining, a data analysis company. The goal was to track where people were boarding city buses to improve the transportation network. Smarttie built the app for iOS, Android, and Windows, providing users with real-time bus arrival information. The first version was delivered in 2013, followed by two more versions in 2014 and 2015. The CEO of Montecristo reported that the project cost was $25,000 and the engagement lasted from 2013 to 2015. The project team included the CEO, a designer, two iOS programmers, and an Android programmer.
