Skillwork

Skillwork was engaged by Swytch, an electric bike conversion kit manufacturer, to provide custom software development. The team developed a cloud system software using PHP and Laravel, hosted on a Linux server in Germany. The software provides a comprehensive overview of Swytch's operational performance and integrates with their warehouses. Skillwork also implemented Zendesk into the customer app, allowing customer service agents to access all information in the database without leaving the platform. The partnership, which began in January 2021, has seen an investment of approximately $69,100 USD and continues to progress.

Skillwork was hired by a mobile phone repair shop to refresh their website and add new functionalities to increase conversions. The team was recommended by a highly respected business partner. After a kick-off meeting where Skillwork understood the company's goals and needs, they agreed on a timeline, set a budget, and outlined all steps. The team of 2-3 people from Skillwork worked on the project, successfully updating the website as required.

Skillwork was contracted by a property technology platform to develop an MVP app for homeowners undergoing house extension or renovation projects. The team started with a discovery process, built user stories, and defined the project scope. They then proceeded with the production process, delivering the MVP app which allows users to select finishes and specifications for their house extension projects. Skillwork continues to develop the app, introducing new features and fixing bugs. The engagement, which started in October 2022, has seen an investment of between $10,000–$25,000 so far.
