Skapa Tech, LLC was engaged by Specialty Marketing, a wholesale consumer electronics distributor, to create a more functional website. The IT Manager of Specialty Marketing found Skapa through an online search and was drawn to their great culture fit and aligned company values. A team of 2-5 Skapa employees worked on the project, which involved updating the website to be more modern and functional across all platforms. The new website also allows dealers to place orders that can be imported into Sage 100.

Cardno, an international environmental architecture and engineering services firm, hired Skapa Tech, LLC for several projects including the creation of public-facing websites and several private, password-protected internal websites, as well as database work in their SQL server. The projects required the development of websites for information dissemination and secure storage of documentation. Skapa also assisted with the migration of Cardno's web applications and systems from an on-premise data center to the Azure cloud. The engagement, which began in August 2015, has seen an investment approaching $100,000 and is still ongoing.

Virginia 811, the excavation notification center for Virginia, enlisted the services of Skapa to design and create a mobile app to improve communication efficiencies between excavators and locators and increase safety at excavation sites. The President & CEO of Virginia 811 met the CEO of Skapa at a conference and was impressed by their culture fit and value for cost. The Skapa team developed a mobile app, available on both iPhone and Android, that allows excavators to review and manage the response codes locators enter into the system. The app also enables two-way interaction between the locator and excavator.
