Sirin Software completed a custom software development project for Transcenda, a design and engineering services organization. The team, which included a project manager, used C++ language for full lifecycle development and prototyping of experimental features for satellite communication software. The project was under a non-disclosure agreement, thus specifics of what was built could not be shared. The engagement was from February to December 2020, with an investment of around $50,000.
In another project, Sirin Software worked on IoT development for Rachio, Inc., a company that specializes in the development and commercialization of smart outdoor systems. Sirin Software developed firmware for a smart hose timer, with the wireless systems being able to connect to an AWS infrastructure and communicate directly with Android and iOS clients. The final system could reliably support 8 smart hose timers that were remotely connected to the Rachio cloud through a central hub.
Sirin Software also provided software support services for SiFive, a chipset design company. The team increased software support on the company's core designs.
