The president of the company desired a mobile version of their current platform, which tracks and documents instability in the region. Simulas created an app with two main features: a bird's-eye view of a user-selected area using mapping and GPS technology, and a pull notification system that allows customized alerts from the company’s database. The app, designed for iOS and Android, provides an overview of incidents like crime, political crises, terror acts, and disease outbreaks. Despite initial challenges with poorly written code from previous coders, Simulas successfully delivered the project within budget, earning high praise from the client. The collaboration started in September 2017 and is still ongoing.
