Simple Thread

They used Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and React to expand the website's functionality, helped with load balancing for AWS, and created a pipeline to connect the WordPress platform to the website. The team also built a new premium item function, made adjustments to the menu and backend reports, and advised on improving Google and Facebook Analytics.

Dominion Energy, an electric transmission company, partnered with Simple Thread to develop a project management system that could handle project information and regulatory reporting. Simple Thread helped to design a new cloud-based application, which would be functional and efficient for the company's processes. The first phase of the project involved replicating the existing tool with some advanced features, while the subsequent phases involved user interviews and application design. The project, which is currently in the development phase, is expected to cost between $2 million and $3 million.

Simple Thread was hired by Dominion Energy's solar development division to develop a web app that uses a cloud database. The aim was to simplify and improve the monitoring of equipment ratings on the electrical transmission system.
