Siftia

Siftia was hired by Third Horizon, a Chicago-based advisory firm, to process large volumes of healthcare payer "transparency in coverage" TIC MRF data. The project's objective was to transform the data and make it searchable for final processing to data marts. Siftia was chosen due to their good value for cost, company values alignment, and successful previous project engagements. The team of 6-10 Siftia employees consulted on and supported the development of a comprehensive data system architecture. This involved ingesting, processing, and transforming price transparency data published by commercial insurance carriers in the United States. The project required engineering design and implementation of large-scale processors for adaptive schemas in Google BigQuery. This included methods for materializing semantics data layers for data analytics and products. Siftia also developed front-end applications for provisioning cloud resources and processing data orders. The long-term partnership between Third Horizon and Siftia has been successful, with the latter delivering on their project objectives effectively and efficiently.
