Sidekick Interactive worked with a government entity to develop a mobile application designed to inform the public about snow removal operations. The app was built using native technologies for both iOS and Android. It provides users with real-time updates about snow removal plans, notifying them a day before the operation so they can prepare accordingly. Since 2015, the company has been maintaining the app and adding new features annually. The app has been well received, and the contract has been renewed each year, with total investment ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 CAD.

In a separate project, Sidekick Interactive partnered with a transportation and logistics company to create a mobile app from scratch that would facilitate the return of items purchased online. The app, developed using Swift, offers a simple and intuitive UI/UX design making it user-friendly. It allows retail store clerks to process customer returns by scanning a label or QR code, which then notifies the logistics company when a return has been dropped off for pickup. The project, which ran from June to November 2022, cost between $75,000 and $90,000 CAD.

In another project, Sidekick Interactive collaborated with an orthotics printing app company to design and develop the UI/UX of an app for podiatrists. By augmenting the client's team, the company has been instrumental in creating a product that enables users to scan a patient using a Structure Sensor interface and submit patient data to an encrypted database. The product, which complies with healthcare industry rules and guidelines, was developed using Figma, Swift, and iOS responsive design elements. The engagement, which started in October 2021, is ongoing, with a total investment of around $250,000.
