Highlights from Recent Projects
Shrine Development was hired by a for-profit food distribution network to improve their decade-old e-commerce website. The project aimed to eliminate login errors, lost orders, and hosting issues, and improve website performance. Shrine duplicated the website on a separate host server to view and test changes in a live environment. They identified and resolved specific problems, improved the user experience, and integrated new branding. The improvements were launched with zero downtime. In addition to this, Shrine is currently working on structural changes to allow customized marketing to specific customers. The result far exceeded the client's expectations in terms of cost and time efficiency.
The CEO & founder of Pocketnest, a startup providing financial planning to Gen Xers and millennials, engaged Shrine Development to clean up the MVP they created. Shrine came in to finish an iOS application that another company started but failed to complete. The application supports consumers and financial institutions, allowing financial information to be shared with different parties. Despite initial assumptions that the product was 80% done, it turned out that it was only 20% complete. Shrine's team cleaned and perfected the application, resulting in a successful engagement.
Exponential ETFs, a company that manages exchange traded funds for asset managers, hired Shrine Development to build out their trading processes into a software which could be licensed to other firms. The project included gathering data from multiple sources and incorporating complex trading processes. Shrine built a roadmap, wireframes, and high fidelity slides for what the finished project would look like, including costs and data integrations. The project was managed by Doug and Malissa at Shrine, and included a couple of other contractors from their end. The project was successful, providing the client with a clear vision and cost estimate for the finished project.
