ShipMonk was engaged by a digital home decorating company to handle their fulfillment and shipping services. The company had previously been handling their own mailing but found it inefficient to hire staff, store inventory, and maintain their own mailing space as they scaled. They had initially engaged a different e-commerce warehouse but were dissatisfied with their service due to multiple errors and a lack of communication. They sought a warehouse that could provide more consistent service and support. ShipMonk was chosen for its ability to integrate with the company's Shopify store and handle their orders, including those containing lithium batteries. The company has invested approximately $1.1 million in the partnership with ShipMonk since May 2018. The partnership is ongoing and has been managed by the director of operations since 2019.
