Highlights from Recent Projects
ShipBob, Inc. partnered with Brummell, a men's direct-to-consumer brand, to provide third-party logistics (3PL) services. The partnership began in November 2017 when the founder and CEO of Brummell approached ShipBob with his idea. The team at ShipBob not only agreed to work with him but also helped him understand the intricacies of analytics and logistics, which proved beneficial when he sought to raise capital for his venture. The team at ShipBob consists of an account executive, an analyst, and a customer support person. The storage fee for the services is around $350-$500 a month, depending on inventory levels, and the cost per fulfillment of a shipment has historically been about $7-$8. The partnership has been successful, with ShipBob being able to handle large volumes of orders efficiently. For instance, on the first day of the launch, they managed to fill about 1,500 orders over the weekend. The partnership is still ongoing.
