SGW Designworks

SGW Designworks was hired by REMIS, a manufacturer of medium temperature refrigeration doors for grocery and convenience stores, to develop multiple systems for remote locking of doors in specific applications. The President of REMIS, who had previously worked with SGW, chose the company due to its high ratings, great culture fit, good value for cost, aligned company values, and confidence in their capabilities and personnel. SGW assigned 2-5 employees to the project, who collaborated on the conceptual design, designed a prototype, specified the bill of materials with vendors, created assembly drawings and design files where applicable, and tested the products for three doors with wired and wireless applications to engage the lock. The feedback from REMIS was positive, highlighting SGW's capabilities and the value they provided.
