The SEYA Group was hired by a large software solutions provider for their expertise in migrating an on-premise product to the cloud. The provider needed to fill several gaps in their engineering team related to DevOps and development and had aggressive deadlines to meet. The SEYA Group was chosen after the client had tried several other outsourcing companies, and were seen as the best fit for the project. They provided several back-end, front-end, QA, and DevOps resources, initially adding seven people to the client's team, with three joining the existing core team and four forming a new Scrum team with a team lead. The team later grew to 12-13 people. The recruitment process involved identifying necessary skills for the project, interviewing nine people, and hiring seven. The process was streamlined, with early technical interviews and code reviews conducted by senior engineers, followed by SEYA Group's team lead conducting initial technical interviews. This saved a significant amount of time, and the client's side of the interview was reduced to a 30-minute session mostly to assess communication skills. The project was successful, and the client was pleased with the performance of the SEYA Group.
