Setronica was engaged by Tradeshift Inc., a company that began as an e-invoicing platform and has since expanded to include sourcing, business partner discovery, offer negotiations, catalog uploading, and internal approvals. Tradeshift required Setronica's expertise for development and QA following a company acquisition. Setronica took up the development of software for product inventory management (PIM), utilizing a microservice-based architecture and frontend, and maintaining full ownership of this section of the system. The team was also responsible for backend implementation, data storage, search, UI, and internal QA. This ongoing partnership, which started in June 2015, involves working with two teams comprising around 40 people in total. The decision to work with Setronica was influenced by their previous work with the acquired company and their domain knowledge.
