Serious Development

Serious Development was hired by a medical billing service company to develop a portal for their providers. The aim was to increase the efficiency of their operations team by offering self-serve options for providers. The project was an extension of an existing portal and required the design and development of a solution for submission and tracking of a 30-day episode of care. The project was intricate and required flexibility from the development team. There were three core people on the team from Serious Development. The project was fully tested and then moved to production with no issues. The client praised Serious Development for their creativity, responsiveness, and dedication.

Serious Development was hired by a large children's hospital system in Houston and Austin area to manage and enhance their current CRM platform of Salesforce. They were recommended by Salesforce as an initial implementation partner years ago and then continued maintenance package thereafter. Their team maintained and enhanced custom objects within the CRM tool for the physician liaison team, including automated reporting functions for the support team. The client worked directly with an account manager and a developer from Serious Development.

A manufacturer based in Los Angeles, with facilities in China and Indonesia, hired Serious Development after outgrowing their existing software platform. The company wanted new features to support new business lines and larger customers. Serious Development looked at the existing database, ported over MySQL data, architected new structure, and then built a custom application meeting the exact business requirements of the client. The first phase was to replace the Sales Order, Invoicing, and Payment systems. Later, Serious Development was asked to develop an inventory management system. The client worked closely with the project manager and occasionally with the lead developer from Serious Development. The client felt that Serious Development understood their goals and how it fits in with their business needs.
