Highlights from Recent Projects
Startling Brands was hired by Gulec Chemicals, a leading producer of non-halogenated flame retardants, to help with the strategic and creative aspects of their branding and marketing. The goal of the project was to increase industry awareness about safer flame retardant alternatives and boost Gulec's expansion in Europe and Asia. Startling Brands conducted a series of workshops to understand Gulec's business and the disruptive nature of their products. They then used this information to create a robust strategy roadmap, a new multi-lingual website, exhibition booths, and to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of online marketing and advertising activities.
Dacha Media, a small media startup that provides English-language content and translations, hired Startling Brands to create a branding concept and website. The goal was to convey Dacha's unique position as a provider of translation services from a journalistic perspective and stress their ability to work on sensitive subjects professionally. Startling Brands created a visual concept for the company, developed their entire website, and designed their business cards, stationary, and brochures. The project was completed between May 2015 and May 2016.
Jilana, a producer and seller of nonwoven and technical textile fleeces, hired Startling Brands to restructure their brand and marketing to better reflect their modern identity. Startling Brands redesigned Jilana's entire corporate aesthetic, including their logo, letterhead, website, and marketing materials. They also provided new internal forms, such as data sheets and technical lists. The project was completed between January and December 2013, and Jilana plans to reach out to Startling Brands again for updates to the visualizations.
