Senstate Technologies was contracted by a non-profit organization to develop a sensor network for an intelligent waste bin project in a factory. The objective was to determine when the bins were empty or full to optimize waste collection. Senstate developed and deployed several sensors that collected data, which was then processed through a cloud-based system integrated with AI and machine learning. The system was trained to provide timely information and to take corrective measures. Senstate also developed solutions for monitoring air and water quality, and traffic. The partnership, which began in December 2019, is ongoing and has been successful thus far, with the non-profit investing approximately $10,000 into the project.
