Semalt undertook a custom development project for an international fencing club. The major challenge was the time-consuming manual invoicing, calendar scheduling, and bookkeeping tasks the owner had to deal with. To address this, Semalt designed a database that automatically sends invoices as soon as users register on the club's site. They also implemented a calendar scheduling feature on the site which alerts the owner when he needs to come in for a private session with a client. The project, which began in January 2017, is ongoing with Semalt providing updates and monthly bug reviews. The owner, who communicates primarily with Andrew, a partner at Semalt, has so far invested $14,000 in the project. He expressed satisfaction with Semalt's work which has significantly automated his operations.
