Segue Interactive successfully completed a project for Patika, a FinTech startup based in Nairobi, Kenya. The company was hired to implement a new design on their mobile app in order to improve user experience. The co-founders of Patika had previously worked with Segue Interactive and were confident in their capabilities. The team, including Co-Founder Mungai, implemented the new design first on Android and later on iOS. The feedback from users and advice from the Y-Combinator panel were instrumental in the decision to hire Segue Interactive for this task.
In another project, Segue Interactive designed and developed an MVP for a Savings and Credit Co-Operative Society (SACCO) / Group Savings mobile app for a fintech company operating in Kenya and Uganda. The company had previously worked with Segue Interactive on an Agritech Mobile App, so they were familiar with their work. The project involved a series of discovery meetings, creation of a wireframe prototype, and development. The first sprint was delivered in two weeks, allowing the stakeholders to give feedback to improve the app.
Segue Interactive also worked with a financial services company, Deriv Payment Agent, to create an Android application, an admin profile, and a website. The company found Segue Interactive through a referral and the Clutch site, and chose them due to their high ratings, proximity, and budget-friendly pricing. The scope of work included application design and integration, app security, Deriv APIs integration, Mpesa APIs integration, website design and development, and app admin design and integration. The project was successfully completed with the help of one employee from Segue Interactive.
