SecTec

SecTec provided comprehensive IT and cybersecurity services for the Genetics & IVF Institute, Inc. (GIVF), an internationally recognized reproductive technology services provider. The company, established as the first outpatient IVF center in the U.S, required enhanced cybersecurity measures and managed services. The partnership with SecTec came as a result of an exhaustive search, where SecTec stood out due to its high ratings, affordable pricing, good cultural fit, and exceptional value for cost.

A team size of two to five employees from SecTec was assigned to the project. Their primary tasks included offering help desk support, remote monitoring and management, vulnerability management, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 administration, and server and network support. They performed patch management, backup monitoring, user administration, incident response, and proactive maintenance. SecTec was also responsible for supervising the IT environment at GIVF, addressing security, and operational issues, delivering reports, and providing consistent technological support.

The outcome of the project was highly satisfactory. With the contribution of SecTec, GIVF now enjoys a secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environment, thereby enhancing its service delivery in reproductive technology.
