Secario Labs

Secario Labs was hired by Utilita Energy, a leading UK electricity and gas supplier, to conduct penetration and web security testing on their small enterprise web development application. The main aim was to identify any weaknesses and vulnerabilities that could be corrected during the development phase before the web-based product went live. The project team from Secario Labs comprised two project managers, a developer, and a penetration security technician. The client selected Secario Labs for their excellent service and value-for-money pricing coupled with quality reporting and documentation.

In another project, Secario Labs was contracted by a software development company to conduct penetration testing and assess the application security of their online platform. The client, who values personal connections with vendors, appreciated the support provided by the Secario Labs team throughout the project. The team guided the client with requirements every step of the way, which included resources from the company's marketing and engineering departments.

Secario Labs was also subcontracted by a cybersecurity research firm to provide penetration testing for their clients. The client provided Secario Labs with technical documentation of cloud platforms and credentials, with the task of essentially trying to hack their clients. The team then presented a report detailing the vulnerabilities they found. The client, who found Secario Labs through Upwork, chose them because they provided the best answers to their technical questions. The engagement, which began in January 2022, is ongoing and has so far cost between $2,000 and $3,000.
