SCI-BI Systems was contracted by a consulting firm to provide development resources for a client's project. They developed a large Salesforce instance that contained data about healthcare participants, including physicians, hospitals, and insurance companies, and their respective relations. This data was collected from various third-party sources, aggregated on Salesforce and updated monthly. SCI-BI was responsible for most of the design, while the consulting firm acted as the project manager. Some data was placed in a data warehouse for business analytics, with visualizations created using Tableau and re-entered into Salesforce using the Canvas app. SCI-BI handled the ETL process, designed the data warehouse, and populated it. They did not handle the Salesforce data work, but were in charge of the Tableau data visualization. The consulting firm's owner, who had previously worked with the CEO of SCI-BI, praised the thoroughness and accuracy of their work. The project started in October 2015, and SCI-BI is currently providing support and changes to the Tableau visualizations and datasets.
