Scalecast

Scalecast was hired by a major retail seller in Europe to address challenges related to scaling their ecommerce software. The project was aimed at improving software scalability and efficiently integrating systems to better serve customers. Scalecast was chosen for their experience in integrating local businesses throughout the Baltic states. The scope of work included designing and developing a system for synchronizing distributor's products with multiple ecommerce platforms. This involved the development of custom software for each new marketplace, including Amazon and Cdiscount. The software was developed using C#, which proved to be more scalable and efficient than the client's previous Java solutions. The system was integrated with the client's existing systems and underwent extensive testing before deployment. The key deliverables of the project were custom software for each new marketplace, integration of distributor's products with multiple ecommerce platforms, and the design of system architecture, backend dashboards, and databases. The project was successfully completed with positive feedback from the client.
