Highlights from Recent Projects
Saviant Consulting partnered with JJ Food Service, a UK-based food distribution company, to digitally transform their delivery process. The company sought to eliminate the use of printed invoices and manual adjustments in the event of mishaps during transit. Saviant Consulting developed a mobile application for drivers to easily make adjustments and invoice customers. The app also streamlined the operation and eliminated back office duplicate work and drivers' mistakes made in a paper-based environment. The project, which started in September 2014, is ongoing and has cost between $200,000 and $1 million.
Saviant Consulting collaborated with a tech utility company to develop a cloud-based data collection system. The system was designed to communicate with a cellular-connected device linked to a water meter, enabling the collection of consumption data on the water meter. Saviant Consulting used the Microsoft Azure solution to design and architect the system before working with the client's tech group to develop the application. The project, which began in 2013, is ongoing and has cost between $50,000 and $1,000,000.
Industrial Power Products, an industrial battery charger service provider, worked with Saviant Consulting to transition from a paper-based operation to a digital platform. Saviant Consulting developed a technical roadmap for a solution that included an iOS/Android mobile app for technicians, a customer-facing mobile app, and a website. The website serves as a dispatching center, providing access to customer information and helping manage work orders and quotes. The project, which started in August 2018, is ongoing and has cost close to $300,000.
