Saratoga

Saratoga was hired by a South African publishing company to provide senior developers for their software development team. The project involved custom development of a large news platform using React.js development. Saratoga followed a roadmap with two-week sprints to continuously evolve the product and build new tools. The engagement, which began in January 2014, has seen the company invest between 30 million – 40 million South African rands (approximately $2 million – $2.7 million USD) in Saratoga. The CEO of the publishing company commended Saratoga for their good working relationship.

In another project, a legacy print company engaged Saratoga to develop their digital news platform. Saratoga built a framework to host the new website, designing it to be mobile-friendly and showcase content from other providers. Over the last 3-4 years, several iterations have been completed and the platform currently sees over 5 million unique visitors online every month. The company has spent more than $1 million on the project which began in July 2014 and is set to continue as the company scales up.

Saratoga was also hired by Liaison Group, a financial services firm, to support the development of Rostering Solution components. The scope of work involved C#, .net code development to support various modules of the rostering solution. The Group CTO of Liaison Group selected Saratoga for the project due to their great culture fit. The project saw one employee from Saratoga assigned to deliver the key components.
