RUBICON

RUBICON was hired by a major chemical manufacturer in Germany to create a new user interface for their internal data platform. The company sought to eliminate the existing data silos and enable diverse analytics use cases to access and process all enterprise data. RUBICON was chosen for their agile mindset and end-to-end sense of responsibility. The project involved the setup of the platform's API, user interface, and UI API. Key deliverables included the platform API, integrated user interface with email notifications, permission management, triggering of IaC deployments, push notifications, and a smaller data catalog solution. The RUBICON team comprised of a Scrum Master, Product Owner, UX/UI designers, and front and backend developers.

A FinTech startup engaged RUBICON to build an Android version of their highly-rated iOS application. The decision to hire RUBICON was based on their CEO's confidence and clear, accurate estimates. The project entailed developing core banking features, including checking account, funds transfer, P2P payments, ATM location search, digital cards, transaction history, spend analytics, digital gift card purchase, carbon footprint, and referrals. The project was divided into two milestones and utilized technologies such as Kotlin, Android SDK 23+, Android Jetpack, Dagger 2, Retrofit 2, and Clean Architecture.

RUBICON was contracted by an international industrial and consumer products company to assist in transferring from their legacy platform to the Microsoft Azure cloud. The company was dissatisfied with some aspects of their existing setup and sought RUBICON's expertise for the migration process. RUBICON conducted creative online workshops to help the company understand the new cloud platform's complexity. The company handled most of the hardcore backend work, while RUBICON was tasked with the middleware and the entire frontend development, including UX and UI. The team from RUBICON varied from 3-4 people during the workshop phase to 5-8 people during the implementation phase. The company has been pleased with RUBICON's work and has extended their contract to include more features.
