RTE

RTE was hired by a digital agency in the UAE to develop an interactive Point of Sale (PoS) system for a travel retail operation. The goal was to engage with passers-by at the location using a unique system that registered and counted each time a whiskey glass was raised in a toast. RTE developed both the hardware and software for the system, including sensor units, custom micro-computers, and electronic devices, as well as cloud computing architecture, POS software, and social network connectivity. The project was successful, with the digital agency praising RTE's skillset and quality of work.

RTE was selected by NC+, a European digital platform, to develop custom interactive software and hardware for a marketing roadshow promoting new South Park episodes. The project involved the creation of an Augmented Reality (AR) booth with touchscreens and motion sensors. The technology allowed users to interact with the animated world of South Park in real time, with their images being captured and shared on the NC+ fanpage. The project was a success, with NC+ citing RTE's quality and price ratio as the deciding factor for their selection.

RTE partnered with PL4D, an AR & VR company, to develop an Augmented Reality Coloring application. The application allowed children to bring their colored drawings to life using AR technology. The technology developed by RTE allowed the children to interact with their drawings from various perspectives and distances, and even enabled them to take photos and videos of their creations to share on social media. The application was well-received and was compatible with most popular devices running Android and iOS systems.
